On wed in RIO olympics 2016 Sakshi Malik defeated Aisuluu Tynybekova of Kyrgyzstan to win a Bronze Medal and end the medal drought for India. She also became one of the four female olympians from india to win a medal at the olympic. The 23 year old won the bronze medal in a wrestling bout which lasted all 6 mins that is two rounds of 3 mins. In which she struggled to score in the first half and was behind 0-5 in the first round but she out performed her opponent in the second round by some really quick take downs and presence of mind. Sakshi Malik is indeed a inspiration for many female athletes as well as women in India. We Congratulate her on the spectacular victory. .
