Refilling procedure : A black Canon ink cartridge is a plastic shell with a piece of sponge in it. The sponge is used to store ink in it. Refilling means putting sufficient ink into the sponge so as to reuse the cartridge. There is a sticker on top of the cartridge. When you remove that sticker you can see a small hole. Take ink in the syringe and inject as much ink as the sponge can absorb, through that hole. Fix the sticker back. Now your cartridge is ready to use. Do not touch the copper PCB & head/nozzle of the cartridge while refilling. You can also refill the cartridge after opening the lid/top of the cartridge using a sharp devise like screw driver/knife. After refilling, fix the lid/top, air tight, using adhesive like Fevi quick. Follow the detailed instruction printed on the box.
